What Just Happened? is the question I asked when What Just Happened? (2008) ended. And I don't mean that in a good way. Okay, looking at the cast: Robert De Niro, Sean Penn, Bruce Willis, Catherine Keener, Robin Wright Penn, Kristen Stewart...this film was supposed to be great. In all honesty, it wasn't. According to a review, it was said that 'Film buff's will love this!' So, how come I didn't? Or aren't I a film buff? For someone who watches a movie every day and often reads Empire Magazine along with constantly going on imdb.com, I think I am fitted into the category of 'Film Buff'. Okay, the plot of the story is some producer played by Robert De Niro (Just confirming with you Empire, 2008 was the year that Bob lost his mojo) who has been divorced a few times, and is struggling to get Bruce Willis to shave his Grizzly Adams beard off. Oh, and a film which Sean Penn was in (I love Sean Penn, and they made him look bad in this film) shocked a whole lotta people coz a dog was shot in it. That was all I got out of the plot, because I was quite bored and was fidgeting quite a bit. Any good points in this film? The cast was great, some performances better than others, but my advice to you, do not watch if you get bored easily, and particularly avoid if you are a film buff.
