I know Inception is pretty much old news now...I mean, it's not playing in many cinemas here any more, and us die hard fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the DVD. But today, I get home from my holiday, kinda sad it's all over and I have to get back to work. My dad walks in, holding some cardboard package. I rip it open, and what do I find?! My very own Inception Shooting Script, of course!
Okay, I was just making that story dramatic. I ordered this around a month ago, on Amazon (which I don't normally do, in fact this was my first Amazon buy), and I was told it wouldn't be here until November. But no, it arrives, a month and a half before scheduled. It's simply the most glorious thing I have ever seen.
...But I am going to finish reading The Accidental Billionaires and maybe A Single Man before I start reading this piece of gold.
So just thought I'd share what has been the most exciting day in a while in my life. Now, I have a book, written by Christopher 'God' Nolan, to sit proudly on my shelf.
Not that it will ever make it there.
I plan on carrying this around everywhere I go.
Geekiest moment of mailbox excitement ever:
ReplyDeleteMy copy of The Sopranos Season 6 was bought previously viewed from a local dvd rental shop. After years of those four dvd cases sticking out like a sore thumb on my shelf, I finally wrote Warner and managed to score myself a keep case that matched my other seasons.
The day that keep case arrived in the mail made my inner OCD movie geek ecstatic!
Haha...don't you just love moments like that? I'm glad someone else has had one of those exciting moments!
